The Grove Music Festival is a one-day boutique musical experience planned for August 3, 2013 in idyllic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada.
Conceived through a partnership between world-renowned promoter Goldenvoice and Canada’s preeminent independent music company Arts & Crafts, The Grove promises a diverse, world-class festival adventure inside The Commons At Butler’s Barracks National Historic Site.
Combining elements of larger, multi-day events like Goldenvoice’s world-famous festivals with the feel of smaller, community-based cultural festivals, The Grove places emphasis on themes of discovery, diversity, sustainability and environment.
The carefully curated lineup promises established global talents alongside progressive voices in the new music space. French indie giants Phoenix and mashup king Girl Talk will share the stage with DIY hip hop sensation Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, blue collar rock heroes The Gaslight Anthem, punk veteran Bob Mould, Odd Future standout Earl Sweatshirt, electronic chameleon Pretty Lights, breakout Swedish DJ duo Icona Pop and garage buzz bands Wavves and Palma Violets.
This eclectic and engaging mixture makes The Grove a best-of-both-worlds experience where fans can enjoy every moment of never overlapping sets on alternating stages, while relaxing in the lush, vineyard-lined backdrop of one of Canada’s loveliest towns.
Early bird and VIP tickets go on sale tomorrow (March 5, 2013) at 10 a.m. local time.
